I feel like we are getting to that point of winter where the sunlight shines bright enough that just by looking out your window you are fooled into believing that you will be unaffected by the cold air should you venture out into the city. Mother Nature fooled me on Sunday as I headed out to Nellcote for a birthday brunch for Cait from Pretty & Fun. It has become extremely difficult to not fall into wearing the same couple of sweaters in rotation just because they keep me warm, so I’ve looked at new ways to rotate some lighter spring items into my winter wardrobe. My boyfriend jacket will be one of those pieces I keep for years to come because no matter what the season, it always seems to work. As for Cait’s birthday brunch, I couldn’t have had a more splendid time meeting up with some fellow Chicago bloggers who were all warm and inviting. Thanks again ladies for a wonderful time!
