With the onslaught of spring lookbooks and catalogues that have made their way into my home, I felt that the best approach to determining what I liked was to cut out the photos and stick them in an envelope. My goal is to wait a week and go through those clippings to determine what I really am inspired by for the spring/summer season. As I'm getting older I've noticed some maturity in my clothing choices, but I'm trying to interject youthful colors and trendy accessories to spice up the pieces. These  black skinny jeans and hot pink blouse have been my go-to uniform for the past year, so this weekend to keep things from getting boring I added a pink fuzzy vest for a boho twist. 

These photos were taken on Saturday morning by my lovely friend Karrin from StyleSound. We met up for brunch with the ladies from Bloody Best who introduced me to this great restaurant called The Souther Mac & Cheese Store. Just like it sounds the cuisine is southern inspired and beyond melt in your mouth delicious. I was so happy that none of us girls were germaphobes since we picked at each others plates. The French Toast was beyond amazing; just the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness without giving me a sugar high. I also definitely recommend getting the fried chicken with biscuits and gravy - so juicy and delicious.
